• Check out Corley Moore anytime and anyway you can! I’ve read his 9 L’s, seen him in person (only person I’ve seen at FDIC get a standing ovation), and listen to his podcast (Weekly Scrap) regularly! He’s advancing the fire service and bringing some of us along with him!

  • Excellent class. Needs to be in every Promotional Academy if not already done.

  • Thought it was a very good class. Very well presented.

  • Excellent and Motivational. Felt like I was at FDIC.

  • Amazing presentation and information.

  • Great information, gave a lot of thinking points.

  • This was EXCELLENT!! This should be done on the first day to set the tone and motivate everyone for the remaining two weeks!!

  • This was fantastic; this type of presentation is what is most needed for the new SGT. / Lt. / Capt. / Major. Must have and more.

  • Great. Very motivating. Would like time with him or other Chiefs to discuss growth opportunities / challenges at stations but in small groups. This was my favorite part of the Lt. Academy.

  • Nice to have a presentation from an outside source. Prevents the audience from having preconceived assumptions about the speaker. Good information, speed, and interaction; kept class interest/engaging.

  • Great presentation! Would like to have more conversations with him.

  • Great class! A lot of good information.

  • Excellent class. Great conversation. Awesome presentation. Flowed great. Sparked excellent conversation. Must keep this a part of all future Academies.

  • This felt like it could have had a longer time block for the amount of information.

  • I really enjoyed it. Great information. Presented well.

  • Amazing class. Must keep.

  • We continue to have great reviews from your class and would like to continue to spread the good word.

  • Incredible class. Chief Moore did an awesome job presenting leadership. Good job.

  • Great information. Good job of using PowerPoint to assist and not read off of.

  • Lots of slides. Strong presentation.

  • Best part of the week. I think we would benefit greatly with this being a full day class.

  • Favorite part of the Academy. All Sergeant’s and above should have to attend that class.

  • Phenomenal class. Would be beneficial for everyone in the Department to have this class.

  • Good to hear leadership theory and techniques from someone outside the Department.

  • Very good class. Maybe get it out to more members of our Department.

  • Very informative information.

  • Great information and speed.

  • Recommend this class to any person on the job.

  • Extremely good. This was an inspiring talk. I felt glad to be given a chance to listen.

  • Information presented had a lot of good information about leadership. It was good to hear from someone  outside the department and different views about stuff.

  • Loved the presentation and the sheet full of books.

  • Very good information. Needs to be in future classes.

  • Loved this class.

  • Awesome class! Very informative.

  • Great class.

  • This was a great class. I got way more out of it than I expected. He should be invited to all future Academies.

  • Probably one of the best presentations I’ve been present in a very long time! The material was very thorough  and could tell the passion and work that had been put into the presentation. I would hate to have to follow up to  this.

  • It was great. More of this.

  • One of the best talks of the academy. Basically, summed up all of the other leadership discussions in just a few hours.

  • Awesome Job! Very well presented.

  • Great leadership class, should be at all Cpt. Academy’s.

  • Best Fire Department Class I’ve attended.

  • Very well presented class. Great information!

  • Chief Moore’s 9L’s Impacting the Culture class was exactly what we needed to complement our department’s Officer Development Program (ODP). Fast-paced and insightful, his class held our attention yet was flexible enough to allow for the discussions that his presentation style prompted. We were proud to introduce these concepts to our officers and look forward to the impact his class will have on our department. No doubt, we will be having Chief Moore back again soon!
